WHATS APP WIDGET ADDED TO THE WEBSITE. SEE POST ON HOW TO USE IT.

The WhatsApp widget is located to the bottom right of the SUTRA website. To use the widget to send messages to the recipient you will need to link your phone using the WhatsApp app installed on your phone. When you try to use the widget to send a message it should open a window with a QR code. You will need to scan this code using WhatsApp on your phone.

Open WhatsApp on your phone, click on the 3 dots at the top right of the app, and select linked devices, then click on LINK A DEVICE, you will now need to authorise the link using your phone credentials. This maybe a password, PIN, or fingerprint it all depends on how you unlock your phone. Once done you will see a QR code scan box. Scan the code on your computer screen, once linked you will be able to type and send messages from the widget on the website.

This only needs to be done once, as when the phone is linked, it stays that way. Remember that WhatsApp is a phone only app, so even though you are using the website widget to type a message, it sends it by using your phone not the computer. That is the reason for linking the computer to your phone.

Once setup you will also be able to use WhatsApp directly from your phone to the widget recipient as the app now has the connection details.

The short video below shows how to link your phone using the QR code in the WhatsApp app.

Christmas Party
at the Somerville Adventure 2023

The Christmas Party was a great success. Parents had a great time with there children, Norma arranged the party games, musical chairs, musical statues, pass the parcel including the raffles.

The food was wonderful soft and fresh and also the fantastic chicken which Frank Rochester created our inhouse Head Chef. Their was plenty

of soft drinks as well. Helen from The Somerville helped to keep everyone in order and to make sure we all had a great time. Also thank you to Cllr Joan Milbank and Cllr Luke Sorba for joining us. To make this time memorable, pictures have been included to show what a great time we all had and to thank everyone for the massive help and organisation it took to put this together. Thank you.
